Chicken Shack 1315 S. Gilbert Road #102 Mesa AZ (480)545-6229 Menu consists of soulful items such as chicken gizzards, fresh fried chicken, greens, fried okra, catfish, stuffed jalapenos and much much more! Daily special: 5 chicken wings, vegetable and fries or 2 rolls for $6.50.
Mouth watering desserts change on a daily basis can consist of banana pudding, peach cobbler, cheese cake and 7-up cake.
What it do EAST VALLEY? There is a new player on the block frying up chicken like it aint no thang. Yes, you may have heard the INFAMOUS Chicken Shack in San Diego has now franchised out here in the valley. They plan on opening up more in downtown Phoenix and even out in the west valley. This is the only place I know that will fry up some chicken gizzards at the wink of an eye. With the economy on rocks the Chicken Shack has prices that are good on the pocketebook. You don’t have to sneak out the house without the FAM...prices are reasonable enough so you can bring them right along. The Chicken Shack is open every day except for Wednesday.
I must warn you of the extremely hot sauce...I dipped a lil piece of my chi ken in the sauce and my lips are still burning....GOOD LAWD! I am going to just stick with BBQ sauce for now. Please Believe Me......this chicken is not sitting under some heat lamp they fry all of their foods FRESH!
